Yellowstone’s Dawn Olivieri Sues for Defamation Over Claims of Horse Abuse

Dawn Olivieri is fighting back against influencers who claim she’s abusing animals.

The Yellowstone star filed a lawsuit in July claiming several equestrian influencers made false statements about her. They specifically accused her of raising horses at Moon Mountain Sanctuary and Rescue, which negatively impacted her livelihood.

Dawn allegedly committed several acts of animal cruelty, including forcing horses in her care to drink dirty water and failing to provide them with food for sustenance. The defendants also made shocking claims that the 43-year-old drama star reportedly killed newborn Arabian horses and that her negligence, methods, and poor treatment have ultimately led to the death of many of these animals.

According to TMZ, the American actress is convinced that a smear campaign was launched to destroy her partnerships with third-party organizations and businesses.

The famous actress outlined one of those partnerships through examples.

She reportedly had a campaign with Dickies, the global leader in reliable tough gear. She claims she started posting promotional pictures on her social media accounts when influencers collectively began a coordinated attack to damage her reputation and destroy her brand deals.

Despite the onslaught, the American Hustle actress claims she didn’t jump the gun. She reportedly first tried to personally reach out to the defendants to address the issue.

However, as they showed no signs of backing down and retracting their statements, the Vampire Diaries actor had to take action against them for giving her bad press.

She’s also suing them for several other alleged violations, including cyberstalking and trespassing at her horse sanctuary. Dawn also alleges that one of the defendants made “terrorist threats” due to an incident, claiming she could be “unalived.”

According to Moon Mountain, these claims have no legitimacy. Most readers are bound to agree after reading her feature in My Pulse News. Dawn talked about how she spends most of her time rescuing pregnant mares and foals who are on their way to kill pens.

At the time, she also requested “round bales” for locals looking to donate: “I had a great resource for the hay, and then just a couple weeks ago their barn burned down. So, I lost that hay connection. Since then, I have been hunting [for hay]. If there’s anyone locally that would… these guys go through roughly, at the height of what I’m doing, it’s about eight round bales a week. We’re crushing round bales over here. That would be my request,” she shared.
