Travis Kelce Shares How He Planned His Surprise Cameo at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour London Concert

Travis Kelce recently shared how he floated the idea and pulled off his surprise cameo at his famous girlfriend’s June 23 Eras concert in London. In the July 3rd episode of his and his brother’s podcast New Heights, he detailed how he envisioned joining the 1989 era of the concert, rolling onto the stage on a bike.

The 6-foot-5 NFL player shared his wild idea with Taylor who initially laughed it off but went along with his cameo idea, albeit, with a twist. 

He said Taylor’s response was “Are you sure you’re really up for doing something like that?” To which he replied “Are you what? I’d love to do that!” 

Although his initial vision of riding a bike onstage was deemed too risky, Travis says Taylor found the perfect moment for him to appear and felt that the segment made for him was just perfect – funny, unexpected, and showed his showman side!

When Travis, seen in the VIP box one moment, suddenly appeared on stage the crowd went wild. It was a surprise cameo performance and the fans were loving every minute of it. Alongside two male dancers in black suits and vaudeville hats, Travis set the stage for Taylor’s “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” performance.

“I’m still cracking up/Still swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut,” Taylor shared on Instagram, capturing the moment of the much-discussed cameo at Wembley Stadium, where 90,000 fans gathered nightly. Prince William and children Prince George and Princess Charlotte were among those in attendance.  

Kelce and Swift publicly confirmed their relationship in October 2023, celebrating one year together in 2024—a standout year with Travis’s team’s Super Bowl victory and Taylor’s Grammy and her wildly successful Eras Tour.

The phenomenal singer had supported her footballer boyfriend with several appearances on the stadium cheering him on and even planting a kiss on him on the field during the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens match. 

The You Belong With Me singer also famously wore a necklace pendant engraved with 87 to match his jersey number and fans can’t stop gushing over their displays of genuine affections and mutual support. Here’s to more wins in love, on the field, and on the stage for both!
