Travis Kelce Reveals When He Began To “Really Fall” for Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is spilling the tea on when he started falling for superstar Taylor Swift.
The American NFL tight end offered insights into his relationship with the singer on the June 25 release of Barstool Sports’ Bussin’ With the Boys podcast.
The 34-year-old recalled the first time the “All Too Well” singer attended his first Chiefs game in September, confirming their weeks-long romance.
He wanted to set her up with security, but Swift—the second most-streamed artist on Spotify—“walked through the front door.” “She was just like, ‘I want to be around the family and friends and experience this with everybody,” he shared.
“She got beaucoup points for that,” he joked.
“I was like, ‘D–n, she’s in the madness. She wants to be a part of it, she wants to support me.’ She really won me over with that,” Kelce continued.
“She’s very self-aware. She understands situations like that. And I think that’s why I really started to really fall for her. It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she just keeps it so chill,” he added.
During his appearance, Kelce also shared why he has been so open about their relationship.
“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything. That’s my girl, you know what I mean? That’s my lady. It’s like, I’m proud of that,” he boasted.
“So I’m not sitting here trying to juggle, like, how can I keep this under wraps? You just don’t want to let everybody into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline,” Kelce added.
The three-time Super Bowl champion further reflected on the impact of their relationship.
“The Chiefs fans have turned into a lot of her fans or her fans have turned into Chiefs fans. I’ve had fun with just about every aspect of it,” Kelce added before mentioning a downside to their relationship. “It’s just when you’re at home, you want privacy and you don’t always get that.”
Just a week before, the NFL star took his relationship with the “Bad Blood” singer to the next level by joining her on stage at the Wembley Stadium in London, UK.
Did we mention Kelce, the ultimate hype boyfriend, stepped in as the dancer who carries her as she serenades the audience with “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”?
“And I’m still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut. Never going to forget these shows,” the megastar wrote as she hard launched her relationship on Instagram.
We’re so glad to learn that she’s every bit as smitten with her man as we are with their relationship!
