Rebel Wilson’s Dreamy Sydney Wedding

Rebel Wilson’s Dreamy Sydney Wedding

Rebel Wilson is ending the year on a high note. The Pitch Perfect star tied the knot with fashion designer Ramona Agruma in an intimate legal ceremony in Sydney, Australia, marking their second wedding in just three months.

The couple first exchanged vows in a lavish September wedding in Sardinia, Italy. Their latest nuptials were a more personal celebration that brought the pair back to Wilson’s Syndey hometown.

“My sister Liberty officiated our legal wedding in Sydney!” Wilson gushed on Instagram. “It meant my 94-year-old grandmother Gar could come, which was very special to us. It just felt right to do it in my hometown at this glorious time of the year!”

The stunning harborside ceremony was a family affair, featuring close loved ones. Wilson dazzled in a ruffled, pink off-the-shoulder dress, while Agruma complemented her bride in a chic cream ensemble. Post-ceremony, the couple celebrated with an elegant dinner inside the iconic Sydney Opera House, capturing magical moments that Wilson shared in a carousel of Instagram photos.

Agruma left three red heart emojis on the post. Celebrity friends couldn’t help but chime in with their congratulations. Tyra Banks commented, “Wow gorgeous!”, while Aussie actress Leah Purcell wrote, “Congratulations to you both!!! How beautiful to be able to share with ya Gran!!! Special!” Fellow Australians like Michelle Bridges and Brittany Hockley also sent love, calling the ceremony “beautiful” and “special.”

A Love Story Written in the Stars

Wilson and Agruma’s journey to happily ever after began with a whirlwind romance that went public in June 2022. Their relationship blossomed quickly. By November of that year, the couple was engaged at Disneyland. “We said YES!” Wilson captioned her engagement post, sharing dreamy photos in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. She also gave a shoutout to Tiffany & Co. for the stunning ring and thanked Disney’s team for making the proposal a magical surprise.

Adding to the fairy tale vibe, the pair welcomed their first child. Their daughter, whom they named Royce, arrived via surrogate that same month. Reflecting on their love story, it’s clear that family has always been at the heart of their journey.

A Special Connection to Sydney

While their Sardinian wedding was all about grandeur, their Sydney ceremony brought everything full circle. For Wilson, hosting her legal wedding in Australia was sentimental and practical. Her grandmother’s presence added meaning to the occasion.

Here’s to a lifetime of love and happiness for these newlyweds!
