Octomom Nadya Suleman Shares Rare Glimpse Into Life With 14 Kids

Remember Octomom? Nadya Suleman, who shot to fame in 2009 after delivering the world’s first set of surviving octuplets, is back in the spotlight. The 49-year-old recently shared a rare and heartwarming glimpse into her life with 14 children, including her first grandchild!
The mom of 14 recently took to Instagram to share how she keeps her household thriving. In a December 15 post captioned “Healthy, fit family,” Nadya showed off her family’s gym session. Her kids joined her, with some tackling the equipment while one hilariously decided the machinery made the perfect pillow. It’s clear Nadya’s family knows how to balance wellness and fun.
But Nadya’s dedication to health doesn’t stop at workouts. She also shared snaps of her grocery haul packed with vibrant veggies, homemade juices, and a colorful salad paired with fresh fruit.
A Growing Family
Nadya’s hands are already full with her 15-year-old octuplets—Jonah, Jeremiah, Josiah, Makai, Nariyah, Isaiah, Maliyah, and Noah—who were all conceived through IVF, just like her older kids. Her children also include 17-year-old twins Calyssa and Caleb, 18-year-old Aidan, 21-year-old Joshua, 22-year-old Amerah, and 23-year-old Elijah.
But the family grew even larger this year as Nadya stepped into a new role: grandmother! In August, her son Joshua welcomed a baby girl, a moment Nadya described as a divine blessing. On September 22, she shared the news with a touching Instagram post featuring a photo of the baby’s tiny foot.
“Thank you God for blessing my son Joshua and lovely daughter-in-law with this beautiful gift,” she wrote. “We are so grateful she is a new addition to our family!” Nadya added, “Baby girl, you are so very loved, and we can’t wait to watch you grow!!”
Reflections on Fame
While her life seems filled with love, health, and laughter, Nadya hasn’t forgotten the challenges that came with her rise to fame. The intense media frenzy following the birth of her octuplets wasn’t easy to handle. In a 2018 interview with The New York Times, she admitted, “I was pretending to be a fake, a caricature, which is something I’m not, and I was doing it out of desperation and scarcity so I could provide for my family.”
Nadya also admitted she never wanted the fame. “I’m not a celebrity,” she told Oprah Winfrey in 2010, describing herself as a “pseudo-celebrity catapulted into this big media mess.”
A New Chapter
These days, Nadya is keeping a low profile, occasionally sharing family updates with her fans. Her focus remains on raising her kids and embracing the quieter moments in life. Though she didn’t seek the spotlight, she’s found a way to navigate her unique journey with grace and determination, proving that even in the most unconventional circumstances, a healthy and happy family is possible.
