Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott Slashed off Their LA Home’s Asking Price — Again
Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott have slashed the asking price of their first shared home!
The duo, who share children Stormi (6) and Aire (2), bought the Beverly Hills mansion for $13.45 million in 2018. “It’s contemporary, but very warm at the same time. The property is also very private,” a real estate agent told People at the time.
The on-again, off-again couple put the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom estate on the market a couple of years later—for an asking price of $21.9 million! But they had no takers, so they discounted it by $2 million in a bid to sell the property quickly.
At the time, The Sun unearthed why the couple is so desperate to sell the 9,680-square-foot estate: a $2.75 million mortgage. That’s around $21k a month, including interest and taxes, for a home that’s basically sitting empty. Sheesh.
Per TikTok user @michelletok, the beauty mogul is living beyond her means.
“I think that these celebrities are not as wealthy as we think they are—especially Kylie Jenner,” she says in the clip. “Not that Kylie Jenner is struggling or anything. I don’t think she is close to being homeless,” she continues.
Michelle details Jenner’s property portfolio (worth $80 million), claiming she’s paying a mortgage on each house, as well as costs for their upkeep and security systems.
This explains why they’ve slashed the price to $16 million, a whopping $2 million less than their offer price in March 2024.
Given what’s on offer, the swanky property is practically a steal at this point.
Arvin Haddad, the founder of zipsmart.ai, believes it has a better chance of selling if the price drops to $15 million. “I think it will probably go to a celebrity who wants privacy and is looking for a home with luxury finishes,” he shares.
“It has a really small backyard and no grass whatsoever. There are stairs in the backyard that go right into the pool, so that poses a safety hazard for kids,” he adds.
“Even though it is south facing, it is literally in the base of a canyon, so that makes the home darker than normal but also gives it a lot of privacy. You sacrifice a lot of natural light coming in,” Haddad explains his reasoning behind the price estimation.
If their current asking price flies, the couple will take home an extra $2.55 million.
