Jennifer Aniston Reveals Vote For Kamala Harris, Calls For “Sanity And Human Decency” In 2024 Election
Jennifer Aniston has made her voice heard in the 2024 presidential election, casting her vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. The Friends star took to Instagram on October 30 to share her decision and encourage others to do the same. At 55, Jennifer used her platform to remind people about the importance of voting and standing up for issues that matter.
“Today, not only did I vote for access to health care, for reproductive freedom, for equal rights, for safe schools, and for a fair economy, but also for SANITY and HUMAN DECENCY,” she wrote passionately. Her message emphasized the power of each person’s vote, adding, “Please remember that whoever you are and wherever you live, your voice matters. Your VOTE matters.”
In her Instagram post, Jennifer reflected on the divisiveness gripping the nation and urged Americans to support candidates who bring people together, rather than driving them apart. “I know we don’t agree on everything, and that is the beauty of this country, but GOOD LORD, aren’t you tired of this negativity towards each other? The intimidation and constant threats to those who do not think the same?” she wrote.
Jennifer ended her post with a powerful plea for unity and a call to end the chaos: “Let’s please end this era of fear, chaos, and the attacks on our democracy— and vote for someone who will unite us and not continue to threaten to divide us 🙏🏼.”
Jennifer’s endorsement of Kamala and Tim comes months after she expressed her frustration with J.D. Vance, the Republican vice-presidential candidate, following his resurfaced 2021 comments. In those remarks, Vance had criticized women who do not have children, including Kamala, labeling them “childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives.”
Back in July, Jennifer responded to Vance’s comments in a strongly worded Instagram Story. Having been open about her own journey with IVF, she addressed him directly: “All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option because you are trying to take that away from her, too.”
