“I Want My Kids To See…A Mommy And A Daddy”: Khloé Kardashian

Khloé Kardashian isn’t rushing back into the dating scene, but she does want her kids to have a strong father figure. The reality star and entrepreneur opened up about her views on relationships, family, and what she hopes to show her children during a recent episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land.
At 40, Khloé is clear about what she wants in a partner. “I’m actually very traditional in a relationship,” she shared, “I like the man to be the man, like lead. I always wanna make the man feel like the man.”
Since splitting from ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, Khloé has remained focused on her children. She revealed that her six-year-old daughter, True, still believes that she and Tristan are married. “The only thing that bothers me about that is I don’t want True thinking this is what a marriage is,” she explained. “That you’re married to someone, but they don’t live with you, you never kiss them, or you don’t sleep in the same bed together.”
The Good American co-founder also reflected on her traditional beliefs about love and marriage. “In my opinion. Get married, have kids. That’s what I want to teach [True],” she said.
While she may not be looking for love right now, Khloé wants to ensure her children grow up in a home where they see love and affection. “I would love my kids to see me have a husband one day. I would love them to see love and affection and romance,” she said. “But right now, I do things for my kids because kids should not be involved in adult problems.”
Recently, Khloé celebrated her 40th birthday with a Dolly Parton-themed party, where she and best friend Malika Haqq discussed their single status. “True thinks me and Tristan are married,” Khloé admitted. Malika reassured her, saying, “It’s just probably better for her. It’s not like she would really understand. It’s okay.”
