“I Want a Girl:” Adele Says She Wants a Baby With Boyfriend Rich Paul

“Someone Like You” singer Adele is feeling motherly again.

The 36-year-old English singer-songwriter reportedly hinted at future baby plans during her latest Las Vegas residency concert. “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby,” she shared with the crowd.

This lines up with what an insider shared exclusively with HollywoodLife in 2022.

“She did not buy an 8-bedroom house for just her and her son! She believes that she has found ‘the one’ in Rich and sees herself growing old with him,” the publication explained.

The singer has been pretty vocal about her baby-making plans. She confessed in a residency gig at The Colosseum’s Caesars Palace in August 2023 that she wanted to experience motherhood again and has been writing baby name ideas on her phone.

Her beau, Rich Paul, is on the same page.

He previously mentioned wanting to expand his brood in an interview with E! News. “I’m really looking forward to being an older dad,” the sports agent said.

“As a young dad, growing a business, it was pretty tough,” he said. Adding, “But now looking as an older dad and my kids being much older, and obviously, if I was to have more kids… I’m looking forward to being a different dad, a more patient dad.”

The hitmaker also revealed that she hoped for a baby girl as she already has a boy. She shares 11-year-old Angelo with ex Simon Konecki and co-parents via joint custody.

“I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world,” the mum-of-one said. Adding, “but also probably hate the most in the world. That is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”

The singer is convinced her daughter will have a big personality. “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”

Many speculate that the “Easy On Me” singer and Rich have taken their relationship to the next level and secretly tied the knot—and it’s easy to see why.

The Grammy winner was spotted wearing a band on her wedding finger in November 2021—the same year they got together. She did say in an interview just a month later that she’s definitely open to marriage again.

“The feeling I had of being married was the safest feeling I’ve ever had in my life, and sadly it didn’t work out, but I miss being married,” she said at the time.

She’s also been caught calling him her “husband” one too many times for it to be a coincidence. However, a source revealed to US Weekly that the “Rolling in the Deep” singer just likes to use those words—just as much as Rick loves calling her his “wife.”

“Adele loved the security [of it] and how much he adores her,” they went on to say.

Whatever the case, the pair looks about ready to settle down.
