Here’s How Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Celebrated Valentine’s Day
Millie Bobby Brown (20) and Jake Bongiovi (21) were seen out and about on a cute little date on Valentine’s Day.
And here’s why their date is especially swoon-worthy.
The Stranger Things star and her model fiancé were photographed strolling downtown Manhattan while walking hand-in-hand through Chinatown. Millie wore a cozy green jacket which she paired with a colorful knit scarf, while Jake had on a casual gray zip-up and brown pants.
Sources say the couple explored various shops and even visited an arcade to have a bit of fun on the special day. They were both bundled up in jackets and seemed to be in high spirits. Millie was seen purchasing a pair of gloves to stay warm. Later, they strolled their way to Little Italy, where they stopped for a box of cannolis. The couple appeared to enjoy the treats while snapping pictures of each other.
After all of that, the pair was seen hailing a cab to head on home. Cute, ain’t it?
Despite all of the backlash Millie and Jake have received for being engaged at such an early age, the pair appear to be stronger than ever. They often post about each other on their social media accounts.
In fact, on Valentine’s Day, Millie posted a picture of her beau on the beach, writing, “love you babe. happy love day.” For the holiday, Jake posted a picture of Millie in a sweater with the caption, “Happy Valentine’s Day my love. Me and you.”
In an interview, when asked about the young couple’s engagement, Jon Bon Jovi—Jake’s father—said that he had no qualms about the two and was, in fact, “fully on board with the romance.” He shared his excitement about their future together.
He said, “They’re growing together. They’re madly in love, and we love them both for that. It’s an exciting adventure.”
Now, isn’t that adorable?
In an older interview, Millie talked about the whole engaged-when-you’re-young debate. She said, “I wanted to be the woman that my mom is to me and I wanted to be the woman that my grandmother was to me. So that was never my, like, intention, to be a wife. But after meeting Jake and seeing, ‘Oh, I don’t have to be this stereotypical wife for him. He doesn’t want me to be that either. He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that.’ I was like, ‘Oh, I do want this.’”
Needless to say, these two youngsters know how to celebrate love and make quite the handsome couple in Hollywood, fighting stereotypes about relationships with an expiry date. Although the couple hasn’t revealed when they will be tying the knot, fans hope it is sometime soon.
With Millie busy filming the Netflix phenomenon Stranger Things and a few new projects coming up, they may be waiting a while. In the meantime, they will surely continue to be loved up!
