Hailey Bieber Shares How She’s Coping With Mom Life And Media Pressure

Hailey Bieber is keeping her peace even when the internet is anything but peaceful. In a new interview with Vogue Italia published July 23, the 28-year-old model and Rhode founder spoke about the emotional whirlwind she’s been riding since becoming a mom and how the nonstop speculation about her marriage with Justin Bieber only made the journey harder.
After welcoming their baby boy, Jack Blues, in August 2024, Hailey says everything changed inside and out. According to her, the period she had Jack was “the most delicate period I’ve ever been through in my life” and she found it “very difficult” “learning to live with a new version of herself.
“And having to do all this while constantly reading falsehoods on the internet like ‘They’re getting divorced’ or ‘They’re no longer happy together’ is something that really drives you crazy. I’m not even sure I can explain it. It’s a crazy life,” she added.
While the headlines swirl, Hailey insists most of what’s written isn’t true. What really matters to her is the real life she lives with her “wonderful family,” her close friends, and the people who genuinely know and love her.
And speaking of close friends, model Kendall Jenner added her own sweet words to the piece, calling Hailey “caring” and “almost maternal.” Kendall revealed, “I’m a bit of a hypochondriac, and if I’m having a panic attack, she’ll come right over and take care of me.”
Despite constantly being under a microscope, Hailey is holding her head high. In another Vogue cover story from May, she stood firm against online hate, saying she thought things would calm down after she had a baby. “You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no. So I guess these bitches are going to be mad,” she said.
She credits a lot of her strength to Justin, who has spent nearly his whole life in the spotlight. “He was like, ‘Baby, trust me, I’ve been here before many, many times. You’re not going to win. There is no winning,’” she said. That wisdom has helped guide her.
Justin also shared a statement with Vogue Italia, praising his wife not just as a mom and businesswoman but as someone who makes it all look effortless. “She’s in the spotlight and has the attention because of her effortless knack for style, business, art, and fashion. And the way she makes being a mom and wife look easy,” he said.
He didn’t stop there. “I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life,” Justin admitted, “but the smartest thing I’ve ever done was marry Hailey.”
The couple first tied the knot in a quiet civil ceremony in 2018 before throwing a larger celebration in 2019.
