Andrew Garfield’s girlfriend, Kate Thomas, said she’s been getting “horrific accusations” as the public reacts to their relationship. One of the nastier rumors that’s been going around is she’s bewitched the Spider-Man actor into having a relationship with her.
She expressed her frustration for being forced under her famous boyfriend’s shadow despite her own achievements as a spiritual reader and mentor.
Kate pointed out how the media would pick her most unflattering photos and focus on her looks instead of the work that she does. She added that she was not prepared to receive thousands of comments from women telling her she was ugly. Since publicizing their romance, she has read YouTube comments like, “She’s not cute enough for him,” accompanied by nauseated face emojis.
Kate said she’s putting her practice into use by reclaiming her power and concentrating on self-acceptance.
The two became public in March 2024 after they were spotted holding hands during a double date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham.
Kate is a spiritual reader and mentor to celebrities like Lena Dunham and Megan Mullally. She grew up in the UK and earned a degree in theology after five years of studying intuition. She then moved to Oxford from London to pursue a doctorate degree in philosophy.
