Jennifer Aydin, known for her fiery personality on the Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ), has been removed from an upcoming cruise gig following a heated meltdown at a Jersey Mike’s Subs.
The 47-year-old Bravo star was set to join fellow reality stars Teresa Giudice and Dolores Catania on the “Wives on the Waves” getaway this September. However, after a now-infamous incident caught on video, a representative for the cruise company announced, “Our priority is to create a drama-free, fun-filled experience for everyone. To ensure this, we made adjustments to keep the cruise enjoyable and welcoming for all guests.”
Despite the decision, the spokesperson clarified it wasn’t “personal” and emphasized their belief in “second chances” and “personal growth.” They also teased that a new Housewife will join the cruise lineup alongside Giudice and Catania.
What Happened at Jersey Mike’s Subs?
So, what went down? Aydin documented her frustrations in a series of Instagram videos while waiting in line at a Jersey Mike’s Subs at the airport. Her complaints ranged from the slow service—particularly pointing out an elderly staff member cutting bread—to frustration over another customer allegedly being served before her.
Things escalated when Aydin added another sub to her order mid-preparation, prompting the staffer to tell her she’d need to wait in line again. That’s when the Bravo star’s patience snapped, and she began recording the situation, claiming her celebrity status justified special treatment.
“I am a f–king celebrity!” she shouted during the exchange.
The drama didn’t stop there. A fellow customer—later identified as a law professor—fired back at Aydin, threatening to sue her “for every piece of fake jewelry” she was wearing if she posted the video online. Her response? “My husband’s a medical doctor, OK? … And all my s–t is real!”
Backlash from All Sides
Unsurprisingly, Aydin’s public meltdown sparked a wave of criticism from a colleague and the public. One Jersey Mike’s employee called her a “stupid b—h” on TikTok and urged her to “learn how to order.” Meanwhile, her RHONJ co-star Danielle Cabral didn’t hold back, labeling her a “scum rocket” and a “POS” in a scathing Instagram post.
Cabral concluded her rant with, “At the end of the day, the truth always comes out, and the true colors of certain individuals always come out. … The beauty of this is you sit back and you watch the trash take itself out.”
As for Aydin, her cruise cancellation might be a reality check—or just another chapter in her dramatic reality TV career.
