Shannon Beador Shares $60K Settlement Receipt in Lawsuit with John Janssen

Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) star Shannon Beador made headlines Thursday night after revealing the resolution of her lawsuit with ex-boyfriend John Janssen. The 60-year-old showcased a wire transfer receipt for $60,000 on Instagram, marking the settlement of their legal battle. The receipt, boldly captioned “ENJOY,” also tagged Janssen and his new fiancée, Alexis Bellino.

The lawsuit, filed by Janssen in March, stemmed from allegations that Beador borrowed $75,000 for personal expenses, including a facelift. Janssen claimed the money was never repaid. Beador reportedly received a $40,000 wire transfer in early 2022 and a $35,000 personal check in May 2023. After seven months of legal back-and-forth, the two parties settled on November 19, just one week after requesting a jury trial.

Beador and Janssen were together for three and a half years before their relationship ended in late 2022. Despite initially remaining friendly, the pair cut ties after Beador’s September DUI arrest. Janssen has since moved on, finding love with Bellino, a current RHOC cast member. The couple got engaged in August 2024 after nine months of dating.

At the RHOC Season 18 reunion, Beador addressed the lawsuit’s toll on her emotional well-being, admitting, “I feel as though I’ve hit rock bottom.” She also claimed Janssen rejected a $70,000 settlement offer tied to a mutual non-disparagement agreement, which Bellino later defended, citing Janssen’s desire to protect his reputation.

With the case now behind them, fans are left wondering if this chapter will be the final drama in Beador’s turbulent public life.

Beador’s Net Worth

Beador boasts an estimated net worth of $20 million in 2024. The 60-year-old reality star and entrepreneur has built her fortune through television and business ventures.

Debuting on RHOC in 2014, Beador became a staple on Bravo. She also appeared on popular shows like Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. In 2018, she expanded her brand by launching Real for Real Cuisine, offering health-conscious meal options that align with her wellness-focused persona.

Her personal life, including her three daughters with ex-husband David Beador and candid moments from her marriage, has kept her in the public eye. Combining her TV career and entrepreneurial efforts, Beador remains a dynamic figure in entertainment and business.

With a multi-million net worth; however, it’s worth asking, why did she have to borrow money from Janssen in the first place? And why did it take a lawsuit for her to pay her ex back?
