Cardi B Parties Too Hard, Vows To “Never Ever Drink Again”
After a drunken night of birthday debauchery, American rapper and songwriter Cardi B vowed on social media that she would “never ever drink again.”
The Hollywood personality, known for her outspoken honesty, turned 32 last Saturday, October 12. To celebrate the momentous occasion, she reportedly spent the weekend partying—and of course—drinking.
But like the story we all know too well, the former stripper had a massive hangover the next day, prompting her to promise that she would never drink again.
In one Instagram post, Cardi good-naturedly joked on camera “I will never, ever drink again,” as she revealed herself with her crooked wig and after-party makeup.
Cardi B Jokes, “Ban Hennessy”
In another post, she published screenshots from friends that she received post-birthday. While sharing a pal’s message claiming she drank an entire bottle of alcohol, she wrote over it, “They need to [ban] Hennessy out this country.”
Cardi was also quick to reveal how the entire night started. The hip hop artist shared a picture of the outfit she wore during her big night out—a barely there minidress with a sparkling belt buckle. She referred to it as “my little thotty dress” that didn’t have “enough fabric.”
According to Cardi, she picked up the dress at Staten Dolls Gentleman’s Club, the strip club where she used to work. “So I got my a– in a truck and went to Staten Dolls Gentlemen’s Club where I worked at for four years and bought this little dress because baby NOTHING was gonna stop this night,” she narrated.
Continuing, she wrote, “I love the fact that they don’t see me like CARDI B.. they still treat me like CAMILLA (Fun fact.. that was my stripper name 😂😂😂).”
Also known as Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, Cardi became one of the most popular music artists in the world. She earned notoriety through Instagram and Vine where she shared her life as a stripper in 2013.
Cardi is the second woman to have two solo top-ranking singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts with “I Like It” and “Bodak Yellow.” Her other hits include “WAP,” “Please Me,” “Like What (Freestyle),” and “Enough (Miami).”
Funnily enough, Cardi B got her stage name from the rum Bacardi. Even her sister’s name, Hennessy Carolina, was inspired by the cognac.
As the hangover fades, fans know that Cardi B’s larger-than-life personality isn’t going anywhere. Despite her vow to “never drink again,” it’s hard to imagine the rapper dialing down her wild side for too long. After all, as Cardi herself has proven time and time again, whether it’s in the studio or on a night out, she knows how to make headlines—Hennessy or no Hennessy!
