Simone Biles Is Back at the Gym for Upcoming Gold Over America Tour

Just a few weeks after making history at the Paris Olympics and winning three gold medals and one silver, Simone Biles recently returned to the gym to prepare for Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour (GOAT).

The 27-year-old superstar gymnast posted clips on Instagram Stories on August 27, showing her flipping and tumbling on a trampoline. Just a few days before, she posted a photo of the World Champions Center in Houston, with the caption “first day back 👀”

Biles, along with Olympic teammates Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera, and more big names in USA Gym, “will bring their talents from the world stage to the GOAT stage in a high-flying pop concert-style spectacle.”

The tour kicks off in the Frontwave Arena at Oceanside, California, on September 16, and the final tour stop is on November 3 in Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena.

The 11-time Olympic medalist has made the most of her time since returning from her history-making run in Paris. Biles purchased a white Mercedes G-Wagon with red leather interiors. She replaced the black version with a new $150,000 luxury vehicle.

GOAT to GOAT: Simone Biles and Caitlin Clark Finally Met

Biles attended her first WNBA game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and watched Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever win over the Connecticut Sun.

Clark is another superstar female athlete: she is the most prolific scorer in the league—and this is just her debut season. In this game, she broke the record for the most 3-pointers by a rookie in a single season (86).

On August 18, Clark broke the record for most assists by a rookie (247). In the first 20 games of the season, she became the first WNBA rookie in history to score 400 points and log 100 rebounds and 150 assists in one season. Needless to say, she is a legend in the making.

The Indiana Fever X (formerly known as Twitter) account posted a video of team members going around a corner to meet Biles and Gabby Thomas, the track and field star who won three gold medals in Paris.

The post’s caption describes the mood succinctly: “the squad was ecstatic to meet Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas after our win at @GainbridgeFH .  the reactions 😂🙌” Everyone was all smiles and giddy while taking photos with the two world-class athletes.

Biles quoted the video and gushed about the game she watched: “EVERYONE WATCHES WOMENS SPORTS 🫶🏾 so happy to be able to go support! my first of many WNBA games 🤞🏾”
