Celebrity realtor Josh Flagg, who is not involved with either property, explained to PEOPLE that listing the Beverly Hills home for nearly what they paid indicates the couple’s strong desire to sell. “They really want to move the property,” he said, adding that Ben and Jennifer are likely to break even or take a small loss on the sale.

In May, multiple sources told PEOPLE that Ben and Jennifer had begun living separately in Los Angeles due to tension in their relationship. In late June, Ben reportedly moved his belongings out of the Beverly Hills home before Jennifer returned from a trip to Europe. As a source mentioned, “Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He seems okay. He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids.”
