60-Year-Old Courteney Cox Shares Her Intense Workout Routine

60-Year-Old Courteney Cox Shares Her Intense Workout Routine

Sagging skin, unwelcome bulges, and muscle loss—these may all be unavoidable parts of aging but not for Friends star Courteney Cox. In a PageSix article, the 60-year-old celebrity showed off her trim figure as she wore black leggings and a sports bra. She also shared her Sunday exercise regimen.

The actress, who used to play Monica Geller, had just celebrated her 60th birthday last June. She referenced the milestone event on social media, saying, “I just had a birthday. Don’t love the number, but look, we have no choice.”

“You just gotta do the best you can,” she rationalized before beginning her routine which involved squats, seated arm rows, pull-ups, crunches, chest presses, and cardio.

As she ended her workout, she changed into a black bikini, put on a sheet face mask, and entered what looked like a huge freezer.

“What, it’s cryotherapy?” she humorously explained as she stepped outside the icy chamber.

Cox Practices Cold Plunges and Slugging

In a November 2023 interview with Glamour, Cox admitted to doing cold plunges (cold water therapy) and slugging (applying a generous layer of petroleum jelly on one’s face).

“I just believe in hydration. So if that’s called flooding, or slugging, or slagging, I do it,” she told the news outlet.

“I thought I would never do a cold plunge. I thought I would hate it, but I love it so much. I feel great for hours afterwards. So as much as you dread getting in, you know that you’re going to feel so good,” she elaborated.

During the same interview, the star advised her fans to apply sunscreen, get proper rest, and never read online comments.

“I don’t read comments. On my Instagram even, I will read the first, maybe I’ll just look at whatever a friend might say, but then after you get to a certain point, it’s going to start getting mean, she said.

“So, I really don’t read comments and I’m just also kind of used to it. I’m so self-critical that you probably couldn’t say anything that I wouldn’t have either thought myself, unless you’re just mean and then it’s just, I can’t relate to that,” she concluded.

Describing her skincare routine, Cox said, “I just believe in hydration in every sense, so I cleanse twice. I do a cleanse, then I do the microfoliant, then I use serum. I love vitamin C…  I love layering. I’ll use the hydrating oil. I’ll do layers to lock in moisture for sure.”

So, there you have it, folks—Courteney Cox’s beauty and exercise routine. Whether or not you decide to take pointers from her, you can’t argue with the results. At 60 years old, the woman looks nothing short of amazing!
