Ben Affleck Chastises Paparazzi: “You’re Gonna Get Me Into An Accident!”

On the night of June 23, Ben Affleck was seen leaving his Beverly Hills home, which he shares with his wife, Jennifer Lopez. The situation quickly turned tense as photographers surrounded his car, creating a hazardous environment with their flashing lights.
In a video obtained by TMZ, Ben was captured getting out of his car to confront the photographers. “You’re gonna get me into an accident,” he exclaimed, walking towards one of the photographers.
“Don’t flash your lights when someone is driving down the driveway,” he added.
The actor’s frustration was evident as he continued, “Don’t do that. That’s dangerous.”
Despite his warnings, other photographers persisted in taking flash photos, intensifying the situation. Ben implored them to stop, emphasizing the danger they were creating. “It’s dangerous what you guys are doing, don’t you understand? I can’t see! You’re gonna get somebody hurt doing this s—.”
Ben’s concern for his family’s safety was paramount. “My daughter is coming down here. If you flash the lights on her, you’re putting her in danger. Do you understand that?” he stated before driving away, leaving a stark message about the perils of aggressive paparazzi behavior.
This incident adds to a challenging period for Ben and Jennifer, who have been living separately amidst reports of marital strain. Jennifer is currently overseas, enjoying time in Paris after vacationing in Italy.
Despite their personal struggles, they have maintained a united front at several family events. Jennifer even honored Ben on Instagram for Father’s Day, showcasing their effort to keep family ties strong.
In a recent appearance on Kevin Hart’s show, Hart to Heart, Ben shared insights into his discomfort with public attention, admitting that he is “a little bit shy.”
“I also don’t like a lot of attention. This why people see me [and] they’re like, ‘Well, this dude always mad…’ Because somebody has their camera and sticking to my face.”
Ben made a clear distinction about his tolerance for paparazzi. “I don’t mind you taking my picture about a club, a premiere, whatever. My wife, I don’t give a f—. Go ahead. Knock yourself out. I don’t notice you,” he explained.
“My children, that’s a different thing,” he added.
