Sofia Vergara Reveals Wanting To Go All Out With Plastic Surgery

Sofía Vergara is pro-plastic surgery, but she draws the line at fillers.
The Modern Family alum, known for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, revealed her plans to go under the knife in a May 28 interview with Allure.
“I feel like you have to take advantage of everything that is out there,” she said. “I mean, if you care about aging. Nothing wrong if you don’t care about it. It’s not the end of the world. But if you do, now there’s so much stuff out there,” she clarified.
“I feel like I’m going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I’m ready,” the 51-year-old Colombian-American actress says. “I wish I had more downtime; I would’ve done stuff already. [But] because I’m in front of the camera, it’s not like I can do something and then sit in my house recuperating for weeks.”
She also spilled the beans on how she’s able to maintain an ageless appearance. “I’ve been doing Botox for a long time in my neck, [around] my eyes,” the star shared.
The Hot Pursuit actress recently got candid with People about how she feels about aging. “I’m going to fight it every step of the way!” she quipped.
She claims she’s done it all to maintain her looks. She says, “I mean, you tell me to put cement under your eye, you’re going to look younger, I’ll do it immediately. I do it all. It’s like I put coconut oil on my head. I put it on my feet. I’ve wrapped myself in plastic with Aquaphor up to the neck. I’ll do it. I don’t care. It’s not stupid.”
The actress, who was nominated for many Golden Globe and Emmy Awards, credits her attitude to her Hispanic heritage. “We always grow up thinking about looking good, doing your hair, your makeup. It’s something that makes you feel good,” she shared.
One thing she doesn’t believe in? Fillers.
The Griselda actress says that the injectable filler is best for young people who are looking to add volume to areas like cheeks and lips as well as individuals who want to enhance their facial contours.
“At my age—51—I feel it’s not going to make you look younger. It is going to make you look more done. And I feel like it actually doesn’t pull you up; it kind of weighs [you down]. So I am against that, once you hit a certain age,” Vergara continued.
The America’s Got Talent judge insists SPF makes all the difference in people’s appearances, saying, “If you’re tanning your face, there’s nothing in the world that you put on at night that is going to give you good skin.”
Vergara, who launched her suncare brand Toty not too long ago, shares that she’s been religiously applying sunscreen since the 90’s.
“I’m 51, and I can compare myself to my friends that have never [worn sunscreen], and now they’re all like, ‘Fuck, why didn’t we pay attention to you?,” she jokes.
Well, we’re paying attention now.
