Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Stealthily Tie the Knot

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are officially married!
The Stranger Things star and Jake, the son of music legend Jon Bon Jovi, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at an undisclosed location in the US last weekend.
A source close to the couple told The Sun that the secret ceremony “was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.”
Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley were in attendance as were Brown’s parents, Kelly and Robert Brown. They also announced a bigger bash in the States later this year, which might have Stranger Things co-star Matthew Modine officiating.
Following the ceremony, the pair was spotted in casual outfits as they shopped in the Hamptons. Later, they were seen all smiles in a Ford convertible with the top down.
If that isn’t the most fitting start to a honeymoon, we don’t know what is!
The pair sparked dating rumors in June 2021 when they posed for a cute selfie in a car. Jake uploaded and captioned the photo with, “bff < 3.”
And good friends they were until they soft-launched their relationship with a blurry picture of them kissing in December.
By January 2023, Millie had described him as her “partner for life,” unknowingly setting the stage for their engagement in April of the same year.
“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍,” she captioned the black-and-white photo of the loved-up couple featuring her huge sparkler.
However, the Enola Holmes actress says the proposal was anything but smooth sailing.
On the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she recalled how she nearly lost her engagement ring when her beau popped the question during an underwater drive.
“So we go under, and we’re like many meters down. And he gives me a shell, and I turn it over, and it’s a ring. And I looked at him and he was like ‘bllllll!,” the Godzilla: King of the Monsters star shared, mimicking Jake’s muffled speech.
“He puts the ring on my hand and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my finger, plummets so fast, it was like a cinematic movie.” She added that Jake retrieved the ring even after the diver said “You can’t do that, your ears. Literally, your brain will explode.”
She concluded, “And I truly feel like it’s a reflection of who he is, and we’re always going to have each other’s back, and if anyone drops the ball, we got it.”
Jake’s father expressed his approval in an interview with the Sunday Times. “I’ve gotten to know her in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way,” the 1980’s rocker shared.
“It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re going to be great together,” he said optimistically.
When the 61-year-old confirmed the pair’s engagement on Andy Cohen’s Sirius XM show Radio Andy, he expressed his all-out support despite their young age.
“I don’t know if age matters. If you find the right partner and you grow together … my advice really is growing together is wise. I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all,” he reflected.
Brown previously shared with ELLE UK that she loved every second she spent planning their wedding.
“Every time we have a new wedding meeting, Jake and I take a picture to capture the moment of the planning process… I haven’t been met with a stressful time yet, and I think that’s just a reflection on how ready and excited we are to do it,” she revealed.
