Hilary Duff Gets Sweet TLC From Husband After Admitting Her Pregnancy Woes

Every pregnancy is different. Even if it’s a woman’s third or fifth child, it will still be a unique and memorable experience. Disney star alum Hilary Duff proved how extraordinary her fourth pregnancy is. She shared some of her feelings about her current pregnancy with her husband, Matthew Koma.

Last Monday, the couple shared a sweet moment in Los Angeles. The 36-year-old Hilary was seen getting a hug from her husband of almost five years.

The two were dressed casually for their outing, with Hilary wearing a pair of black leggings, a beige crew neck sweatshirt, and Adidas sneakers with a black and white colorway. Musician Matthew matched his wife’s comfortable attire with a short-sleeved shirt, dark shorts, and a red baseball cap.

As they wrapped their arms around each other in public, people were reminded of Hilary’s previous admission where she claimed that she missed her pre-pregnancy body and even shared a throwback picture that showed her former silhouette.

Hilary announced in December that she was pregnant with their fourth child through social media. Her 26.8 million followers were delighted at the actress’ comical post. It showed a funny Christmas card of their family as they posed in their pajamas. Below it was the witty caption, “So much for Silent Nights.”

The back of the card featured a photo of her three children with the message, “Happy Holidays. Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch.”

The expectant parents share 5-year-old Banks, 2-year-old Mae, and Hilary’s 11-year-old son Luca whose biological father is her ex-husband Mike Cormie.

With Hilary’s two children—Luca and Mae—celebrating their birthdays on March 20th and March 24th, it’s challenging to commit to celebrations while battling pregnancy fatigue and its many physical changes.

Recall that in June last year, Hilary spoke with Shape about raising their children. She mentioned, “I’ve had to get good at being disappointed in myself.”

During her conversation with the publication, she added, “I think that when you have a baby, you’re just wired to think that you are loaded with all the answers and all of the capability, and we’re still just human beings.”

Despite the challenges of motherhood, Hilary focused on the positive aspects that make her proud to be a mother and its endless rewards. She gushed, “I just love watching my kids form into their own individual unique selves. I love [parenting] with my husband. I love feeling like hugs and cuddles can make everything better. I love the pressure of being like, “How the f**k are we going to make it through this day?”

Hilary continued, “And making it through the day and being like, “I don’t know how everyone is tucked in and fed and happy after all the things we’ve had to do today.”

Hilary and Matthew met in 2013. Matthew collaborated with Hillary in 2015 for her Breathe In. Breathe Out album. They eventually tied the knot in 2019.
