Zendaya Cannot Stop Gushing About Boyfriend Tom Holland
Zendaya (27), in a recent interview with Buzzfeed, could not help but gush about co-star and boyfriend Tom Holland (27). Here is what the Emmy Award-winning actress revealed.
Zendaya was asked who had the most rizz among her Dune: Part Two costars. The answer was not at all what fans expected.
Before answering the question, she clarified, “Rizz is short for charisma, right?” Then, the award-winning Europhia actress revealed, “I think someone who has beautiful charisma—not on the Dune cast—but works for me is Mr. Tom Holland.”
She continued, “I’m more shy and, like, kind of quiet, so it takes a little bit more to pull me out of my shell. But he’s great at just like, talking to people and getting to know people. You see him on talk shows and stuff like that. He’s just naturally very good at that. He’s got that natural gift.”
The two extremely talented artists have been known for keeping their relationship extremely private, so this statement took quite a few by surprise.
In an older interview, the Spider-Man actor denied having any rizz. “I have no rizz whatsoever; I have limited rizz. I don’t know, I need you to fall in love with me, really, for it to work,” Holland stated.
“So, long game, probably making a movie with each other. [It] definitely helps when the characters you’re playing are falling in love with one another, you can sort of blur the lines a little bit,” he added. “That’s kind of where my rizz is at. I’m locked up, and I’m happy and in love, so I’ve got no need for rizz.”
Zendaya and Holland met on the sets of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which began filming in 2016. The two have been linked personally since then but neither confirmed nor denied relationship rumors for years.
The two embarked on a worldwide press tour and attended various premieres together, but never let their fans know what was really happening.
In fact, Zendaya was linked with Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi (26) in 2019. However, in July 2021, the Spider-Man alum indirectly confirmed their relationship when they were seen packing on some PDA in Los Angeles. Shortly after, a source close to the couple confirmed their relationship status.
They said, “Zendaya and Tom started off as really great friends and stayed that way for a long while before things turned romantic. They work really well together because he makes her laugh, and she really helps guide him through the world of celebrity.”
Another source in 2021 revealed, “The duo challenge each other and balance each other out.” Nuff said!
Today, Elordi has been linked with on-and-off again girlfriend, YouTuber Olivia Jade (24). But neither has confirmed their relationship. He previously dated Kaia Gerber (22), who is now engaged to someone from the Dune cast. (Keep up if you can!)
Dune: Part Two is set to be released on March 1, 2024. The new installation has some new characters played by the talented Austin Butler (32) and Florence Pugh (28), pleasing many fans.
