Taylor Swift Gifts Her Team $160,000 Worth of LV and Cartier Gifts After Grammy Win
Taylor Swift was the biggest winner at last weekend’s Grammy Awards. Since then, she’s made it a point to lavishly reward her team.
The “Midnight” hitmaker brought home her fourth Best Album of the Year award, making her its only four-time winner. Aside from the highly coveted award, the 34-year-old also won Best Pop Vocal Album.
After her successful night, she has been giving away luxurious thank-you gifts that are worth thousands of dollars each to her 30-strong behind-the-scenes team.
According to the US Sun, Taylor included her assistants, agents, advisers, and managers in her gift list, showering them with items from luxury brands Louis Vuitton and Cartier. The news outlet shared that Taylor selected $2,100 shoulder bags from Cartier featuring black-grained calfskin, metal finishes, and a hot-stamped Cartier signature.
Taylor also purchased several $2,500 18k rose gold Cartier d’Amour necklaces for the ladies on her team. For the men, Taylor bought Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandouliere bags. She also reportedly splurged on Louis Vuitton Nano Steamer bags that retail at $2,500 each and $3,300 Christopher MM backpacks. To complete her gift-giving, Taylor purchased travel bags that cost $2,500 each.
According to an insider, “Taylor does a lot for her team and close collaborators, and the team is united, and the love is reciprocated. Taylor loves and takes care of them like family; she does a lot for all of them. It’s great to have a boss, a collaborator, who treats people like that.”
Taylor has been extremely generous as of late. It was reported that she also had custom-made bags and jackets made for boyfriend Travis Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to celebrate their impressive touchdown two weeks ago.
Travis wasn’t around to support Taylor at the Grammys but he praised his girlfriend’s upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, earlier this week. He described the album as unbelievable although he only heard bits of it.
When Travis was asked what his favorite song was from the 17-track album, he answered coyly, “I can neither confirm nor deny that.”
However, he did say that among Taylor’s songs, his favorite is “Anti-Hero” because he hears it every day. He also acknowledged the singer’s tremendous recognition at the Grammys by commenting, “She’s unbelievable. She’s rewriting the history books herself. I told her I’d have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware, too.”
Since the two began dating last year, Taylor has become a popular figure in football. She is frequently seen in the bleachers, attending Travis’ games and cheering his team on.
Travis credits Taylor for bringing plenty of new fans to football. He said, “Taylor has an unbelievable fan base that follows and supports her throughout her life. It’s been fun to kind of gather the Swifties into Chiefs Kingdom and open them up to the football world and the sports world.”
